The following will walk you through the basic steps to download and use the DLP Remote Support Tool. Before using the DLP support tool, please get in touch with your DLP Rep and notify them that you will be needing support.
1. Download the tool by clicking here: DLP Remote Support Tool. When prompted, press the "Save" button.

2. After clicking the save button, you will be prompted with a location to download this file to. Select "Desktop" from the left hand side, then click the "Save" button.

3. The download should be fairly quick, even on a dial-ip connection. Once the download completes, click the "Open" button.

4. You will then be met with the archive utility. On the left hand side of this window, click "Extract all files".

5. When the extraction wizard launches, click "Next".

6. When prompted for a destination, make sure your desktop is selected (it will be by default), and click "Next".

7. When the wizard completes, click the "Finish" button.

8. The new folder will be opened, showing you the DLP Remote tool. You may either leave this file here, or simply drag it to your desktop and delete the remaining zip file and folder.

9. Double click the DLP Remote tool to open it. you will be prompted with a security warning at this point. Please click "Run".

10. The DLP Remote Support Tool will now be open and running. You should now see this window.
11. On the left hand pane, double click the text that says "DLP support". This will establish your connection into our support team.
12. The program will then minimize itself to the system tray. The support tool will try to connect to DLP for several minutes before quitting. Once the connection is established, you will be prompted with a notice that says your desktop is now being viewed. DLP Support can now control your mouse and keyboard to help fix your computer issue.

Every email client will be different, but the settings you will use in those email clients will all be the same (if you are using DLP for hosting, or dedicated servers.) Replace "<your-domain>" below, with whatever your registered domain name is.
