In its third year, Google I/O is a developer-focused conference held annually by Google to discuss applications using Google and open technologies. This year has seen some major news from the conference:

Music by Google: Upload your personal music collection to listen anywhere, keep everything in sync, and forget the hassle of cables and files. No word on what the service will cost once it is out of beta.

Android Open Accessory Standard: Any accessory, gadget, peripheral, etc designed to work with Android, will work with ANY android device (as long as minimum specs are met)

Android @ Home:  Consists of open source libraries that will enable developers to build apps that can discover, connect and communicate with devices and appliances in the home.
